Vehicle systems

Electric powertrain

The powertrain group develops the electric drivetrain with an emphasis on performance, reliability, efficiency, and serviceability.

Electrical systems

The electrical team integrates high- and low-voltage systems, controls, sensors, wiring, and vehicle safety functions.

Chassis

Chassis members design and build the frame around safety, stiffness, low weight, and driver packaging.

Suspension

Suspension members develop geometry and damping to produce predictable handling, grip, and useful driver feedback.

Manufacturing

Students translate designs into parts and assemblies while coordinating interfaces between each vehicle system.

Testing and integration

Vehicle-level testing gives the team evidence to find issues, refine designs, and prepare the car for Formula SAE evaluation.
